BIOSAFE’s 5 liter capacity polypropylene containers for long sharps are a safe and efficient solution for managing hazardous medical waste. Made of high quality rigid plastic, these containers are designed to ensure high mechanical strength. The lid of these containers is equipped with special mechanisms for the detachment of syringe needles, scalpel blades and other larger waste, thus reducing the risk of contamination for medical personnel and preventing reuse by people outside health facilities. They also come with a sturdy carry handle. The containers are labeled according to the legal regulations in force and are certified according to ISO and IPROCHIM standards, being approved by the Ministry of Health – Institute of Public Health.
